ARTWORK STATEMENT: "Ms. Independence" is part of a body of work entitled, "Paper Dolls". This exhibit explores the suspension of space and time to collect the wisdom of not only the women in our family tree, but the women of the world. What knowledge could we gather if only we could meet with them, and what messages would they want us to carry forward?
