SCAD Interior Design Students Unveil "Dream Plan" for Kilkenny Plantation House

Richmond Hill Reflections will host Savannah College of Art and Design interior design students for their final presentations of The Kilkenny Angler's Lodge and Fisherman's Co-op. The students will be unveiling their final "dream projects" focused on the Kilkenny House in Richmond Hill, as seen in the most recent issue of Richmond Hill Reflections magazine.

A semester-long project, the students, under the instruction of professor Sarah Boehm, have devised plans on methods of transforming the old Kilkenny House into an Angler's Lodge. The assignment was purely educational, and inspired students to familiarize themselves with the history and culture of Richmond Hill.

WHEN: Wednesday, November 30th  10 a.m. - 1 p.m.

WHERE:  Richmond Hill History Museum, 11460 Ford Avenuem located beside the Parker's Gas Station on Highway 144. The event is free and open to the public for viewing.

"These students are amazingly creative. I had the pleasure of viewing their presentations during midterms; they are unbelievably defined and extensive. Please drop-in and dream a little-we'd love to see you there!" says Paige Glazer, Publisher and Editor of Richmond Hill Reflections and Vice-President of the Richmond Hill Historical Society.
