This workshop is a one day introduction to indigo, in it you will learn about the ancient and storied indigo dye and the mythic indigo plant. After a discussion about indigo and a demonstration of the art of indigo dyeing, you will be able to dye your own items in the vats provided for you. Basic shibori supplies will be supplied so you can create interesting patterns on your textiles. I've begun to think of this class as an “art camp” for adults, it's the place for your inner child to come out and play!
