It has been a truly long hot summer and just now are we beginning to peak our heads out of our air conditioning. We've always thought of summer on the coast of Georgia to be the equivalent of winter in North Dakota!

If you have never attended an AOC Quarterly I think you'll enjoy yourself. We are a group of artists and lovers of the creative. The evening begins with liquid refreshments, finger foods, and getting a chance to just hangout. We talk a little business and then look at and discuss any art work (all mediums.......2D, 3D, photography, fiber, painting, pastels, mixed media.......you name it we want to see it!) brought by the artists. This is my favorite part; over and above kibitzing with everyone. I always learn something new that helps my own work. 

It is just so cool to get the chance to look at what has been happening in other studios. 
We do need to start talking about doing one more AOC show in 2016 and what our plans are for 2017. Think about whether you want your name and contact information listed on the AOC website and whether you want to go that extra mile and have a personal gallery set up on the AOC site.
