The Art of Collecting, or Why a Gallery is the Cream Filling Between the Artist and the Collector
Join the Learning Center for this exclusive lecture-and-tour program. A partnership between TLC and the Arts Resource Collective, this delightful afternoon combines a half hour lecture and lunch with private tours of four artists’ studios. Artist and gallery owner Leslie Lovell distills years of experience, revealing secrets for the beginning collector and the seasoned veteran alike. After lunch, vans from Low Country Jaunts transport tour participants into the world of four artists’ studios. Working in a variety of media, these artists offer a glimpse of the spaces where they work and the processes by which they create their masterpieces.
Space is limited, and early registration is encouraged!
