In this workshop, students will learn to design original characters and create original stories. Students will learn to: 1) combine natural elements, including animal and human elements, to invent strange new creatures which will serve as either heroes or villains in their stories, 2) learn to juxtapose natural and artificial elements to invent strange new inventions which will serve as important props for their stories, 3) learn staging and exaggeration to give life to their characters and create interactive situations between their characters and finally, 4) produce a complete visual story with fresh characters, and plenty of action and drama.
