Neighborhood Comics invites you to submit your Dark Crystal themed artwork for our upcoming group exhibit.

Dark Crystal is back in a big way this fall with a new Netflix series and tie-in comic from Boom! Studios.

The prequel Dark Crystal: Age of the Resistance comic will be released on August 25. The television series of the same name debuts on August 30, 2019 on Netflix. The original Dark Crystal movie was a defining moment for many, including those of us at Neighborhood Comics. We're excited about the return to Henson's fantasy world and to see your interpretations of the Mystics, Skeksis and Gelflings.

Submission Process:

Submission is free!

Submission is also easy. Just email a clear and legible image of the artwork to Raymond@NeighborhoodComics.com

Images should be no larger than 300dpi, 1MB per image. Please no more than five submissions.

Please include: Your name, contact email and phone number and artwork title, size, medium and price. Please do not send actual artwork.

Artwork will be juried by the owners of Neighborhood Comics.

11:59PM, August 23: Artwork images submission deadline

August 26: Accepted artists will be notified via email.

September 2: Deadline for delivery to Neighborhood Comics.

September 6: Exhibition opens!

October 4: Closing reception coinciding with Starland First Friday Art Walk

October 11: Exhibition closes

October 11-13: Artwork pick up.

The Fine Print:
Accepted artwork must be wall mounted and no larger than 18”x24”. Accepted artwork must be framed or otherwise ready to hang. Artist is responsible for shipping to and from Neighborhood Comics. All artwork should be original. All artwork must be for sale. Neighborhood Comics retains 50% of all sales.
