ARTWORK STATEMENT: This painting captures a quiet moment from another time—a Model T parked outside a small-town ice cream shop on a warm afternoon. The idea for this scene was suggested by my twin sons, Richmond Hill natives who are fascinated by cars and stories from the past. I’m drawn to moments like this because they allow everyday places to feel timeless. Through light, color, and atmosphere, I wanted to evoke the feeling of summer, memory, and the passing of time.
