Art in Bloom 2026 is Arts on the Coast’s annual juried fundraiser, celebrating the creative dialogue between visual art and floral design. Taking place on April 25, 2026, at Heartwood, the event will feature 20–25 selected works of art, each paired—when possible—with a participating floral designer who will interpret the artwork in floral form. Subject matter for artists is completely open; this is not a flower-themed exhibition. Guests will enjoy spectacular art alongside floral installations, light bites, and live entertainment, all in support of Arts on the Coast’s mission to establish a cultural arts center in Richmond Hill.
Artists interested in participating must be current Arts on the Coast members and are encouraged to carefully review the respective participation requirements before applying. There are no entry fees. Artists may submit one work for consideration, with multiple high-quality images showing different views, framing, or details. Minimum and maximum size requirements apply. All entries must be submitted online by March 7, 2026, and artists will be notified by March 23, 2026. Selected artists will receive one complimentary ticket to Art in Bloom, and proceeds from art sales will be split 50/50 between the artist and Arts on the Coast. Pairings with florists are dependent on the number of participating designers.
