Arts on the Coast is officially accepting nominations for its 2027 Board of Directors! Current members are encouraged to participate by nominating themselves or recommending a fellow member whose experience, enthusiasm, and commitment to the arts would benefit our organization. The nomination period opens Monday, November 2, and closes Sunday, November 15, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. EDT.
Serving on the Board of Directors is an opportunity to help guide the future of Arts on the Coast, support our programs and exhibitions, and contribute to the continued growth of our creative community.
Who Is Eligible?
To qualify for nomination to the Arts on the Coast Board of Directors, individuals must:
• Be a current Arts on the Coast member in good standing.
• Have maintained membership in good standing for at least two (2) years prior to November 15, 2026.
• Agree to fulfill the responsibilities and obligations of Board service.
• Confirm their willingness to serve if elected.
How to Submit a Nomination
Members may nominate themselves or recommend another eligible Arts on the Coast member through our official online nomination form. SUBMIT A NOMINATION
All nominations must be received by Sunday, November 15, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. EDT. The online nomination form will close at that time.
Following each submission, a member of the Nominating Committee will contact each nominee to confirm their interest and willingness to serve, verify eligibility, and gather any additional information relevant to Board service.

Please see these very important dates and deadlines:
• November 2–15, 2026 | Call for Nominations
• Members may submit nominations through the official online form.
• Nominations close November 15 at 11:59 p.m. - The Nominating Committee will complete its review, verify eligibility, and confirm nominees' willingness to serve before the official election ballot is finalized.
• November 20–December 4, 2026 | Voting Opens by electronic ballot.
• Eligible voting AOC members will receive an electronic ballot by email. Voting closes December 4 at 11:59 p.m. EDT
• December 14, 2026 | Annual Membership Meeting - Outgoing board members will be recognized for their service, and new board members will be installed at the Annual Membership Meeting at the Richmond Hill City Center.
