Arts on the Coast invites members, artists, and art enthusiasts to gather for the next Quarterly Meeting and the opening of the upcoming ArtNITE exhibition, Majestic.
Quarterly Meeting
Monday, June 22
6:00–8:00 p.m.
Richmond Hill City Center
520 Cedar Street, Richmond Hill, Georgia
Located inside J.F. Gregory Park
The Quarterly Meeting is an opportunity to connect with fellow artists, share recent work, learn about upcoming events, and stay engaged with the local arts community.
This meeting also serves as the primary artwork exchange date for participating artists. Members may:
• Pick up artwork from the Nostalgia exhibition
• Drop off artwork for the upcoming ArtNITE: Majestic exhibition
Artists unable to attend the meeting may deliver artwork to the City Center on Tuesday, June 23, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., or arrange an appointment with Sarah Volker.
Please note that any artwork from the previous exhibition not collected by 2:00 p.m. on June 23 will be transported to storage. Retrieval after that time will require an appointment with Sarah.
ArtNITE: Majestic Opening Reception
Friday, June 26
5:30–8:00 p.m.
Richmond Hill City Center
Arts on the Coast's next exhibition, Majestic, celebrates creativity in all its forms.
As AOC President Sarah Volker explains:
"Please don't let the word 'Majestic' get in the way of what you are creating. Just the act of putting pen to paper, brush to canvas, finger on a shutter, chisel to stone, or hands to clay is, in its own right, magnificently majestic."
The exhibition will remain on display through September 14, providing visitors and artists an extended opportunity to experience and share the work.
Exhibition Guidelines
• Maximum of three pieces per artist
• Artwork should not have been exhibited in Richmond Hill within the past two years
• Participation fee: $45
• Artists must maintain an active Arts on the Coast membership
Artists who wish to exhibit three-dimensional work are encouraged to notify Arts on the Coast in advance so that pedestal space can be arranged. Some three-dimensional works may be relocated to the Arts on the Coast Gallery following the opening reception.
Members are also welcome to display a QR code or payment link alongside their artwork, allowing visitors to purchase artwork directly from the artist.
Important Artwork Submission Requirements
Ready-to-Hang Artwork Required
All submitted artwork must be ready to hang using end-to-end wiring.
Arts on the Coast volunteers are unable to wire artwork during installation. Artwork that is not properly wired and ready for display will not be hung.
Label Your Artwork
Each piece must be clearly labeled with:
• Artist Name
• Title
• Medium
• Price
While this information is also submitted electronically, labeling each piece helps volunteers efficiently identify and install artwork during exhibition setup.
Membership Information
Arts on the Coast memberships renew annually in January. If you are unsure of your membership status, please check the current membership directory. If your name does not appear, please renew your membership prior to participating in the exhibition.
We look forward to seeing both familiar and new faces as we celebrate another season of creativity, community, and artistic expression through ArtNITE: Majestic.
