Submissions for Art in Bloom are officially open, and we invite artists to participate in our only juried exhibition of the year—and our largest annual fundraiser. The entry deadline is March 7, and artists may submit one work for consideration.
Art in Bloom will take place on April 25 at Heartwood, where we will present a curated selection of 20 large-scale works. There is no designated theme for this year’s exhibition; artists are encouraged to submit their strongest, most compelling work, provided it adheres to all size and presentation guidelines outlined in the prospectus.
Works not selected for the main Art in Bloom exhibition will still have an opportunity to be included in a companion display at the Estes Gallery. The gallery will host a private preview party in honor of our top-level sponsors, ensuring additional visibility for participating artists and added value for our supporters.
This year’s distinguished panel of jurors includes:
• Chris Walker, local artist and muralist
• Beth Logan, artist and arts writer for the Savannah Morning News
• April Cameron, General Manager of the Richmond Hill City Center and former Executive Director of the Anderson County Arts Center
Art in Bloom is not only a celebration of artistic excellence—it is a vital fundraiser supporting our programming throughout the year. We are actively securing event sponsorships and welcome introductions to local and corporate businesses interested in aligning with the arts community. Sponsors will be part of what promises to be the best garden party of the season.
Artists are encouraged to review the full guidelines carefully and submit their work before the March 7 deadline.
